Compost

So I guess composting is a good thing to do. This fall we started a little composting project whereby we collect compost and then pawn it off on others who come over. They take it home and put it in their own compost bin (since we don't have one). No one refuses, since composting is a good thing to do (notice the guilt tactics here). Former victims have included Jen and Aaron, my sister, and my mom, giving this lovely tradition the name "Mompost." However, I have found a new and very willing young soul to take the compost on a weekly basis. That soul is Sespe, the guy I tutor. He is really a back to the land type, and thus he takes the compost with glee, even when rotten and stinky. Also, since he comes over twice a week for tutoring, we basically have a built-in composting service. Not sure if this is really worth a blog post, but perhaps it will provide encouragement for others looking to compost but without the means to do so. Take courage! There are individuals out there to lighten your load.
Don't cast judgment. He promised to reuse the plastic bag.
