So we had our yard sale fundraiser on Saturday to raise money for Pakistani refugees. It was totally awesome! Here's a little photo journey of the day.

Ahnika made these signs. As you can see, she got a little carried away with the wording, but as she pointed out, "It's true. Celebrities
might come." I guess you never know.

Good ol' Ben Ewart showed up bright and early with a minivan full of awesome stuff! There were so many people who donated stuff- nearly too many to list. Thank you all so much.

The view from our balcony-- let the shopping begin!

It was a smashing success. Do you notice the tables out on the sidewalk? We got a little reprimanded for these by a local police officer, but it wasn't a problem to move them.

Sue was SO awesome. She was there all day selling stuff, collecting money, quoting prices, and being good company. What a queen. THANK YOU, SUE!

Jane and Ian hitting up the free coffee. We sold donated baked goods. Thanks Hillary, Ahnika, Mom, and Isa for making these, and Jane for keeping the helpers well-fed throughout the day.

Chase was a rather good salesperson; I think he has discovered a hidden gift. You will notice the vest. Not as good as a fanny pack (what he originally had in mind), but works just as well. He bought the hat right there at the sale. In this picture he is displaying some lingere.

Jen and Mary Patts.

Ahn and Kristen, no doubt setting aside some awesome items for purchase.

Mary reorganizes a pile.

Classic Nick. Eating aplate of food on a couch chair.

Jane displays some boon gleaned from the sale.

Nikki and Brandon, reclining as they display their boon.
When all was said and done, we raised over $1,300 dollars for the relief effort in Pakistan. We had been praying for $1,000 dollars, and though this seemed impossible, God is so faithful! Praise Jesus!
Thank you SO much to everyone who helped. You guys blessed us and blessed Pakistan.
