We had a great time up north last weekend visiting family and friends in Davis and Redding. Above is the sign we were greeted with when we pulled into Jeb and Grant's.

The Taylor house. Taz and Blaze are out front.

Four people who are most loved: Scout, Grant, Sage and Jade.

We got to go to the rock climbing gym with the girls. They are pro and put their skills on display! Above is a photo of Scout belaying Chase (imagine).

Jade and Sage charging it.

Chase and Sage

Got a quick visit in with some of Chase's college friends.

On Friday we drove to Redding to visit Josie. I didn't know it would be so beautiful! This is the Sacramento River. It runs right through town.

Whiskeytown Lake

Josie's place.

Nakoa and Shadow, the most courteous hamster to ever live. In the words of Nakoa, "She only bit me once."

Cousinlies!

A little Mount Shasta sledding trip was in order on Saturday. Sledding is a dangerous sport that I would not recommend getting involved in. It involves propelling yourself on a small disc down an icy slope at high speeds. You usually bruise vertebrae.

Drive-by view of Mount Shasta.

We visited Josie's church. Pretty wild!

Homemade spring rolls. YES.

Thanks for an awesome visit!
