Though this has undoubtedly been the most difficult and saddest spring ever, there have been so many gifts along the way. I am grateful for these little gifts that remind me of God's goodness and love.
Gift # 1: Lots of time with dad before he went home.
Gift # 2: Rope swing! (This is mama Pam swinging out over the Pacific).
Gift # 3: Lovely flowers delivered by even lovelier friends.
Gift # 4: Family love-fests.
Gift # 5: Crossing the river barefoot back at Red Rock.
Gift # 6: Seeing long lost family members, imported from New Zealand and Hawaii, respectively.
Gift # 7: Figgy Mountain wildflowers.
Gift # 8: Leisurely picnics.
Gift # 9: The joy of little kids, especially when they are my nieces and nephews. This is Jade.
Gift # 10: Quail eggs! Taste like chicken eggs, only smaller and more expensive.
Gift # 11: A token rattlesnake out for a cruise, spotted in Matilija Canyon near Ojai.
Gift # 12: Swimming holes!
Gift #13: 4 days in Boston with one of my favorite ladies in the world, Jennie.
Gift # 14: An impromptu backpack in the San. Raf. wilderness, and beautiful meadows like this one.
Gift # 15: A fun person to share it with (That's Castle Rock in the background, taken from Hurricane Deck).
Gift # 16: Lupins!

Gift # 17: Wildflowers galore on the Hurricane Deck. As Chase put it, it's like the flower form of the Kingdom of God.
Gift # 18: Seeing folks get baptized at the church retreat (This is Anne Marie)
Gift # 19: Chase, my best friend!

Cas, thanks for sharing your reminders of God's love and goodness. Your pics of the wildflowers are just stunning. Did you or Chase take those?
Chase took most of them. I couldn't believe my eyes when we saw those puppies.
Beautiful beautiful. I love you, Koop Family.
