Ben Ewart Christmas Party

Saturday was the Christmas party for Ben Ewart Construction. We had a phenomenal time together eating and sharing. Here is the picture of the crew. From upper left: Dave, Duane, Seth, Hilary, Chase, Matt, Ben, and John. You will notice they are holding little statue things. These awards were created by Seth and Chase in what has been a month-long process. They also created a memorial board game, which is the subject of this post.
A few of the awards in question. Notice the tiny toolbox. There is nothing that can't be found on Ebay.
Chase's award. Lifeguard, since that was his job during his "summer vacation" in Vermont. If any of you were wondering, Chase's calves really do look like that, only more shapely.
Chase and Seth display the rules of "Benopoly", the game they designed.
The object was to move around the game board and collect tiny tools in one's tool box.
The game board went around the whole table, and participants used their awards as game pieces.
And now for a sampling of the game squares:

One of the tiny tools used in the game. To quote Mr. Ewart himself, "It's a little hammer, and when it grows up it's going to be a big hammer."
Chase and the boss man. Ben Ewart has to be the best boss in all of history. We are so grateful to God for him! Long live BEC.
