It's so hard to sum up the last few weeks-- there has been so much! I (Cassie) finished up my formal coursework and said goodbye to the other inspiring teachers on my program. We have worked together closely for a long time and they have been quite a support. Here is a picture of almost all of us.

I gave my final presentation at the Sandanona conference on our campus. It was sweltering in the room and I felt a bit nervous, but it was an incredible feeling to complete this.

I will really miss my dear friend Nasra. She is so special to me!

A few of us doing who knows what at the final banquet.

After a short stay in Boston with Jennie, we flew to Jackson Hole and were picked up by our friends Mike and Danae. Our plan was to take a backpacking trip in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. This is us unloading all our stuff (too much stuff) at the trail head the night before we were to head off.

Yeah, it started to snow as we started out. After a couple miles we were like, "no thanks." We hiked out and were super bummed! But we did pray God would give us wisdom in our decisions and so we felt like we did the right thing.

Elliot, the snowy trail dog.

On our way out, we had a chance meeting with Peter, our dear friend Sarah's finacee. It was really strange seeing him, but a joyous reunion indeed. He and his friend Mike were gnarlier than us and were pressing on despite the snow.

We settled on Idaho for our trip, near Sun Valley. We took a ferry ride accross Refish lake and began our trip. It is so phenomenal here and we were so thankful this is where we ended up!

The night view of the mountains at Upper Cramer Lake.

On top of one of the many ridges on the second day of hiking.

This was a pretty killer day and we were glad to be done.

This is our campsite on Redfish Lake. There was a little dock on the lake so we set up our tent here. It made for an incredible night of sleep and some pretty stellar views when we unzipped our tent in the morning.

Lake Imogene.

Tired people on the boat ride out on the last day.

We headed next to Bend, Oregon for Azlan's wedding. This is a really great place to visit-- lots of rivers and fun things to do. It was so great to have a reunion with the family, too.

These clouds were amazing! "The heavens declare the glory of God...."

Rehearsal dinner picnic: me, Becca, Sarah, Jodi, and Fiona.

Azlan looked so gorgeous! We didn't get many photos the day of the wedding because we were pretty busy, but it was an incredible day. Go Mr. and Mrs. Salciccioli!
